János Vincze is research advisor at the Institute of Economics of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, and Associate Professor at the Department of Mathematical Economics of Corvinus University of Budapest. Formerly he worked at the National Bank of Hungary, and taught at the Central European University, He has participated in several international research projects sponsored by the Commission of the European Union. He has written on diverse aspects of applied micro and macroeconomic theory.
