Álmos Telegdy has joined the Institute in 2004, first as Research Fellow, and Senior Research Fellow since 2006. He graduated from the University of Temesvár (MA in physics), the Central European University (MA in economics) and the Budapest University of Economic Sciences (Ph.D in economics). He does research in empirical microeconomics; his main topic is the effect of ownership on firm performance, employment and wage policy. His papers were published in several Hungarian and international journals (e.g., Közgazdasági Szemle, The Economics of Transition, Journal of Comparative Economics, Journal of Political Economy).
