Short Bio
Gergely Csorba entered the Institute of Economics in 2005. He finished his Master studies in Economics at the Budapest University of Economic Sciences and at the University of Toulouse, and received his PhD degree in Economics from the Central European University. His previous research was on price discrimination strategies in network industries, he published on this topic in the Journal of Industrial Economics and in the International Journal of Industrial Organization. He used to teach at the Budapest University of Economic Sciences, at the University of Veszprem and in the Erasmus College. He is currently working on competition policy issues, and employed as the Chief Economist of the Hungarian Competition Authority.
