Short Bio
Zsolt Csáfordi studied studied Applied Economics at Eötvös Loránd University among its first students (BA degree in 2011), and he finished his Masters degree at Central European University in Economic Policy in Global Markets in June 2014. He wrote his MA thesis about the wage curve from the viewpoint of inactivity in Hungary with the supervision of János KöllÅ‘ and John Earle.
He worked at ECOSTAT Government Centre for Impact Assessment for two years, where he participated in both regulatory impact assessment analyses and long-term projects, e.g. a research about the effects of RDI grants on Hungarian firm performance. After this, he spent a year at Budapest Policy Analysis Institute participating in labor market analyses, most importantly about PES Performance Assessment.
From September 2014 he works for the Institute of Economics, as an assistant research fellow of the Economics of Networks Research Group. His main research interest lies in the networks of employers and employees.
