Short Bio
Edina Berlinger received his Ph.D in Economics from Corvinus University of Budapest (CUB) in 2004. Her thesis were about income contingent student loan schemes. She works at CUB since 1995. She became Head of the Department of Finance in 2008 and the Chair of the Subcommittee of Finance of the Hungarian Academy of Science sin 2012. She obtained a research fellowship from Collegium Budapest, Institute of Advanced Studies between 2005-2007. She participated in several research projects as researcher and/or project manager. Her previous research topics were: credit risk, design and implementation of student loan schemes, investment analysis and asset pricing. Actually she focuses on network theory and systemic risk in the framework of the Game Theory Research Group led by László Kóczy.
