He has been research worker of the Institute of Economics of HAS since 1965. Since 1973 he has been senior researcher. Between 1984-1994 he was head of Food Economy Department. In 1966 he defended his dissertation for "University Doctor" degree. Since 1971 he has PhD. He is a titular professor of three universities, an elected member of the Committee of Agricultural Economics of HAS and member of the International Scientific Body of the Institute of Agricultural and Rural Development of Polish Academy of Sciences. The list of his publication consists of 161 items, including 7 books.
